there is no Chinese version of RNS 510. I believe you indeed have some kind of Chinese wince based 2-din unit which is (on the outside) similar to genuine RNS 510 and it's most likely also branded with VW logo, but this is definitely not RNS 510! There are many variants from china which are similar to original units but they are much cheaper and have different GUI and OS. If I'm' right, than you can install any navigation software which is wince based (preferably iGO) and you can forget all what is related to genuine RNS 510 units which are factory installed in VW cars.

Please provide some pictures of the unit and it's GUI...after that we can discuss further.

GUI (Graphical user interface) - it's the look of your software - menus, icons etc..

As I expected, this unit is not a RNS 510, it's only a cheap copy and looks like RNS 510 from the outside. Installing iGO shouldn't be a problem. You can install it on a SD card and trough a settings menu of your system just set a new path to Primo.exe. I'm sure there must be an option like "nav path" or "navigation path" in the settings menu..or just read a manual.

Yes sir there is a nav path option, i installed a whole igo primo ( newer ) on a new sd card i choose the new igo primo.exe i press gps it loads half way and it restarts from itself and than its a loop until i remove the sd card. i have not found anyone having this issue anywhere or i am just blind and not seeing it.

    on the picture:
GPS2015TruckQ4 is the new igo primo with maps & exe. so its not only maps

the new folder (3) is what was in my new sd card.
IGO= the old one ( with newer maps installed also loading half way i used the torrent link that was provided on this website. named as : iGO_R3_FULL_HERE_(Navteq)_2015_Q4_Europe.rar)
IGO primo = the gps2015truckQ4 so the newer version with 2015 maps + exe

    Spoiler: picture

Reasons for restart can be many. Some damaged file, bad license, etc, etc. "Branding" file is redundant, also folder "ui_igo9". To avoid speculation until tomorrow, the easiest and safest way is to do the following:
First, download only Primo 2.4 9.6.13.405512 (Honda Civic Reborn), for 800x480, put only one map (and POI, of your country) and try. Then, add files you really need, not whole package (MAPS, POIs...). 3/4 files in truck pack most likely you do not know what is it for, surely you do not need them.

I prefer clean standard versions. So that way you are sure that you are not obstructed any way.
[Only registered and activated users can see links. ]
And, for example, here is direct link to pure software:

Only software. For the beginning, add your language and voice, global_cfg.zip, and one map and poi, and try. If necessary, only in the sys.txt enter values for your gps port and baud rate.

You can use any map edition you want
Only, I repeat again, for the beginning put only one map (of your country - logically, or just a basemap). To be sure that works.
