[Only registered and activated users can see links. ]

    Hi guys,

I am from Sri Lanka and totally new to GPS softwares. I recently got this i go primo software and files in it are there in the snap. I just need to know how to install this into a sd card and then make it usable in a gps device. What kind of settings that need to be done? I do not know much so can somebody teach me from the basic how to do the settings. I tried to install this into a caska. what i did is i just copied these files to an sd card and then inserted. but that did not work. Please help me to figure this out. That would be a great help for me.

Copy the lot to the sd is the way to do it.
Next step is to start up the program. Therefor you have to set the path to the program in device settings somewhere. How should be in the manual.
Then click on the navigation button and the program should start up.

I tried to do it. Do I have to create any file with settings or it should be done using the settings option in set up (device)? It kept on displaying the message "No GPS found" Do i have to put any configuration in a file? This priomo files i have downloaded are correct right? Is this all I need to install primo?

Installing Primo is, unlike Garmin, TomTom and others, just a copy/paste thing. You paste the program on sd and fill the content folder with maps, etc. That is all.

When you do the settings menu, can you select the Primo program? Then that program should be connected to the navigation button and the button should start up Primo.
The message "No GPS found", where does it come from? The device? Primo? Is this the exact message?
Because: on the map screen before a satellite lock is acquired, Primo might show either "Looking for satellites..." or "Autodetecting GPS receiver...". The difference is that "Looking for satellites" means Primo has found the GPS receiver and is in the process of acquiring a lock, this just needs a bit more time, while "Autodetecting GPS receiver" means it can't find the GPS hardware. If the message is exactly "No GPS found", then it could be the Caska has met a problem. Is the hardware connected properly?

The issue is i cannot select the primo program. I do not know how to set the path to primo program because it does not give any option to select a path as i figured out. well, i will check once again what the message is and let you know. Thank you so much for your help mate. I will update you soon with my progress

First, does your device has GPS module at all? There are some units where it is purchased separately.
If you want detailed help, provide us exact model and your components (HUD, CD/DVD...(gps module), etc).
