    Default TMC Data Traffic

    Could someone explain how TMC works

    Does the data source need to be online ( I assume uses phones data connection to receive information ) or can it work offline?

    I have no events and the traffic events is greyed out. The attached image shows green text stating 'Online Traffic'

    info in sys txt is

    [http]
    enabled=1
    can_use_native_api=0

    [tmc-http]
    enabled=1
    profile_name="nng-igo-tmc-jci"
    ;profile_name="nng-igo-tmc-russia"
    ;profile_name="nng-igo-tmc-beckerfull"
    ;profile_name="nng-igo-tmc-iphone"
    profile_version=2
    udp.enabled=0

    [tmc.src.http]
    enabled="1"

    Finally, license are ok or at least look ok.

    This setting did the trick for me:

    [http]
    enabled=1

    [tmc.src.http]
    enabled=1

    [traffic.settings]
    traffic_enabled=1

    [tmc-http]
    start=1
    enabled=1
    servers.size=2

    servers[1].url="http://tmchttp0.naviextras.com/nng-igo-tmc-primo/0/"
    dt_dl_0=60.0
    dl_dist_0_km=50.0

    @Buffen
    If the answer - write from what iGO you have these entries - because you can cause confusion !!!
    You have these entries from Primo version 2.4 / android,
    a colleague asks about TMC for NextGen (look at the screen's)
    As to the substance tmc - it works the same, but the declarations sys.txt a bit different!

    @athlonoc
    1. You must be in the directory iGO_Avic / content/ folder name - tmc, and in the license file for your country
    name.tmc (name - this is file name for your country) - eg for Poland is - "Poland_MediamobileNordic_1.0_110608.tmc"
    2. in sys.txt's declaration:

    [network]
    available = 1

    [tmc-http]
    enabled=1
    profile_name="nng-igo-tmc-jci"
    profile_version=2
    udp.enabled=0

    [tmc.src.http]
    enabled = "1"

    and look:
    Spoiler: screen's

    Hi,
    Good question Mate;
    I have not checked the other versions NextGen - but the version Avic, which installed without tmc folder and file ( for me - one that I pointed out as an example) - did not work tmc.

    Interesting, for US I did not have any license and online-TMC works ok under NextGen. If license is needed, maybe it's part of map license for NA?

    I see in post #1 on photo double United_Kingdom_TrafficMaster_1.0_100302.tmc and missing United_Kingdom_NQ_Navteq_Traffic_100921.tmc

    Download here [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] up-to-date 44 TMC files.

    + Download there Nextgen World licenses + use fsp files with your map files

    Success

    @osiris4isis
    Test it with a good sys.txt!!!

    Success

    I did have world license's in my folder but as most didn't apply someone said you can have too many and can cause a conflict with other files. ( Not sure they can )

    I can activate all tmc files except the United Kingdon NQ Navteq Traffic tmc file. Can't get the licence for that one.
    I have re-copied all new world license from link of which I already had but didn't use them all. So now all license files in license folder.

    New tmc folder - see picture

    [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]

    I have HERE maps 2015 Q3 with .fsp file in map folder

    1) Do I need all four tmc files in TMC folder for this to work?

    Thanks ever so much for your help.

    delete first your save folder and test it with Nextgen world license folder.

    No change!!!

    Then special license need for you.

    Actually your tmc is working. Your 3 tmc is active. Search plase a good sys.txt for tmc on this forum...
