Is it asking you to set the navigation path at startup?
If yes that means it currently cannot find the navigation software when you press the Navigation icon.
If you have put new software on it make sure folder structure is the same as it was before, and the .exe file is the named same as the original.
If that does not work, or the software's location has been changed by you (was previously on device's storage, now on MicroSD card etc.), then on the 2nd page of icons when it starts up there is an icon called Navi Path, tap that and there you can set the path to the .exe of the software.

If that's not what you mean then I don't understand your post correctly, no offence intended but it's a little hard to understand.

The Nozatec devices I have came with French language already on them, if I ever wanted a different language it would have been just a matter of going into the settings to change it to whatever language I wanted.
Try deleting or renaming the folder named "Save", this will reset eveything back to default, then when it first starts up it should ask you what language you'd like to select, if your French language you've put there yourself is useable it'll show in the language settings, if it doesn't appear or is greyed out there's something wrong with it, the formatting or something & you'll need to source another file for the French language.
Deleting/renaming the Save folder might also help stop that error message, the program will create a new one auto when it's first run again.
