Default Newbie would love to test IGO! - But where to start?

    Dear Gents,
Right now I use a retired Samsung SII with Copilot as navigation in my car - and I’m quite happy!

I used Navigon Select for years - but the phone had a serious crash so I had to reset it - and lost all my Apps.
Navigon would not let me install the App again. They can see that I have bought it - and I have bought updates.
But Select/Europe is discontinued - so "Dear Customer, we can see that yo have bought it, and updates etc. - but we cant help you! You need to buy a new package"!
    NO WAY!

(I have a TOMTOM in my other car - Im NOT going that way )

So I found Copilot here - and its different from Navigon - but OK! :-)

I have a brand new S4 laying around (I use Sony Z3 as my mobile) - that I would like to test with IGO.

Im just so confused about what "package" to chose! - I have read zillions of posts - and Im still confused!

Would/could one of you IGO wizards point at a "package" that a Newbie should start with?

Excuses for my poor English - I do hope it makes sense

    Hi Modemakias,

I went for Post #20 -Thanks!

Just to make sure I have understood it correct:
I unpack your IGO.rar to a folder, and then I copy the folder to my phone - and then run the apk?? - is it so simple?

Cheers - and thanks in advance!

    Ok - here we go!
    Samsung Galaxy S4
Not rooted (could do it if it would make things easier?)
    Android - Lollipop
If there is space enough then memory - the phone will only be used for navigation in my car, i do have several SD cards -so if SD cards is easier - then Ill pop a card in the phone

Again - Thanks for taking your time!

    OK..

1- Istall the apk. Better v2 maps share.
    2- Start once your IGO.
3- At start iGO will tell you it is not IGO normal folder.
    3- Restart your phone.
4- Now you can see after restart your phone -> Android\data\ -> com.nng.igoprimo.javaclient
5- Place your "iGO" folder in the Android\data\com.nng.igoprimo.javaclient\files <- folder.
6- Go to settings -> app manager -> IGO and clear the cache.
    7- Start iGO.
