I got my new phone and tried to run IGO with no success. IGO installed correctly but failed to launch once the progress bar reaches about 15 to 20%. The application closes with no error message and the debug folder has a new file with 0B in it. Due to the lack of error message, I have trouble finding what is the problem. All my files and program work perfectly on another phone with a different screen resolution and OS(with Dalvik). I have tried 4 different APK with the same result.
My phone runs Android 5.1 and I believe Dalvik is not available anymore, it runs on ART only. In addition the runtime menu in the developer options menu is not present anymore.
Could that be the source of my problem?
before I forget.... my phone is not rooted yet.

Actually, I am trying to install it but it keeps telling me that my iGo folder is missing or incomplete. I tried moving all my files to IGO or IGO_Nextgen to no avail. Do not worry, I will eventually find where the files go. I am just starting and I just found some rudimentary instructions on the installation procedure. I will keep searching.
But just before I invest too much time on Nextgen, Do you know if it works for NA maps? I read some places yes and other no.
OK I figured out the installation and it is working perfectly except for a small detail, The licenses do not open North America maps.
Thanks Navifan2 for the North America maps licenses. IGO_Avic works well. I guess Primo is history for me. Time to move on. I will play with it tomorrow to check if TMC works and look for a few interesting skins to try.
]. I read it before your Oct 10th edit.
Thanks for the clarification.
I played with NextGen this morning and everything is working perfectly although I did not find the way to activate the GPS within NextGen as I was able to do with Primo. It is a small irritant and NextGen is growing on me. I can't wait to see what the skinners will come up with.
Many thanks to everyone for your help.
Yes, that post AND update was done BEFORE NA2015.Q2 license was posted by X6. No map license is need when it's used in non-NextGen (iGO/Primo) release but NextGen require license for map/poi/building/etc...
Anyway, I was not very impressed with earlier release of NextGen, but the latest Avic release is much better. Fast loading time (around 6 secs instead of 20+ secs) and online TMC works too!
