Default Chinese 2Din Android Head Unit Car Radio

    Hello everyone,

I am very very new to this (I am a newbie). I need help, please.
You guys are great, but I do not understand your "special language".

I have one of those Chinese 2Din Android Head Units (KLD / RK3166 dual core / KitKat 4.4.4 / 800x480 resolution).
I am trying to install the latest iGo Primo on the dedicated GPS SD card. There are so many files that I dont know which one to use. Also, what do you mean by "crk"? Where does this get installed. What changes are needed in the sys.txt?
If this is sensitive and against the rules, then please PM me with the info.

I will than need help with USA maps, and voices (TTS voices that can announce the street names).

Can someone please help me. I am totally new to this.

    Thank you very much.
    ggee

Does anyone have this type of car radio?
If so, can you please help me. Please!!!

    Thanks,
    ggee

    Hello nawaf,

I downloaded everything the way you described above. When I try to start the app in my car head unit, I get an error:

ERROR: Interface resolution (400x240) is not supported.

Is there something else I need to download or edit? Or did you maybe give the incorrect download?
Are you familiar with the type of android car radio that I am trying to install igo? It is 800x480 resolution.

    Thanks,
    ggee

    Hello nawaf,

I downloaded the other files you suggested and install it to my car radio. It installed completely and the app works. However, now I have a different message:

    "Unsupported Voice Files found"

The Content folder you had me download only had one regular English voice file. I downloaded some additional regular English voices (US, UK, AU) and a few regular Spanish voices (ES, AG, MX) from the voice forum section.

But I think the reason why this message is showing is because I also downloaded some English TTS voices (text-to-speech) from the voice forum. I really need to have TTS Pro function 100% correctly. This is very important because I need the street names to be announced with the driving directions. I know that regular voice files do not have street name function. Only TTS voices can do this function using the TTS Pro. It is very important for me to have this function.

Also, I read that some builds or devices have problems with TTS voices not working correctly. Either the problem is the TTS volume it very very low, or the music does not mute when the TTS voice is speaking. I want to avoid this problem or find the solution.

Can you please help me with the TTS Pro setup. This is very important and I would really appreciate it.

    Thank you,
    ggee

do you have TTS runing in your unit?
if not , see post# 12 by Mike Hunt
[Only registered and activated users can see links. ]
    or Korabi post#1
[Only registered and activated users can see links. ]

look at this: [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]

if yes: you only need one tts voice placed in content>vioce
and you also need to modify sys.txt
here is what I have, that you can try your self
you can also modify tts sittings: ... by runing igo .. go to settings >> sound and warnings >> TTS pro

    cheers

Sorry to bring up an old thread regarding these Chinese 2 din radio. I am new to all this and need some help. I bought a 2 din Chinese radio running Android 4.4.0 with a screen resolution of 1024x600, (it says).

So I found an app onto this forum [Only registered and activated users can see links. ], post #11, and sys.rar [Only registered and activated users can see links. ], post #8.

However it seems that I need a lot more files to add to the SD card as mentioned in post #4 and #5 of this thread and as I understand it, they should be for the resolution I have, 1024x600.

Where can I find such files please? Or a newer hassle free version?

    Thank you
