Ok, i have been playing around with the tmc and doesn't seem to work properly...

I can only use fixed stations, probably because i used this UX: [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]
However, if I remove this UX, I cannot get any tmc at all?

Also, if I click on a specific traffic jam notification, (primo crahes..?) and my device restarts...

I cannot install the dimka skin? I installed the zip file but it doesn't show up? How do you install skins in igo primo 2.4?

In my system file in the save folder, auto tuning = 0.
    and also [other.fm_transmitter] fmtx_enabled = 0.

Also I have another problem which might nit be related to the tmc problem. When I switch my device off when Primo is running, and I switch it on again, Primo crashes and restarts. Could this be due to the fact that my Primo content is on the sd card? Do I need to add something in my sys file?

    Thanks!

You can only use fixed station because it is a moov spirit.

And with fixed station do you receive TMC events ?

Don't use UX - Utility for fixing station frequency for TMC receiver - Primo 2.0, 2.4

I cannot install the dimka skin? I installed the zip file but it doesn't show up? How do you install skins in igo primo 2.4?
    How that ?!

Also I have another problem which might nit be related to the tmc problem. When I switch my device off when Primo is running, and I switch it on again, Primo crashes and restarts. Could this be due to the fact that my Primo content is on the sd card? Do I need to add something in my sys file?
You have to stop Primo and then switch the power on the device.

Try to use DIMKA skin ...

If not tell me and i 'll help you.
    Don't worry....

    Only a question...
Could you bring back Mio to lock and AFTER unlock it with the easiest way of Navman Unlock ("Mio Unlocker")?

    Yes
I live in France and on mode list with frequency of nrj or inter, I get more than 100 events.
You have to know the frequency of your available trafic info local fm provider.

@costas3850: I finally got the DIMKA skin installed. Now if I use the fixed station tmc, I can receive some info, but it seems very instable. It switches between "tmc available" and "no tmc signal" and "no tmc hardware found" all the time. And when I click on a specific tmc message, Primo crashes and restarts...

If I remove the fixed station ux, I do not get any tmc at all...

With igo8 on my mio, I could switch the device off while igo8 was still running and then switch it on again, and igo8 resume where it was left without any problem. I found this of course very handy. But with igo8, I did not use a sd card, so I thought that might be the issue.

@saviano: I do not understand your question? I used the visualgps unlock method and I removed most of the mio software.

Do you have tmc working with primo on a mio spirit 575? If yes, please tell me what you did!

Yes.I have mio with TMC working but i have unlock it with mio unlocker.
It's another way (most easier),not visual gps.
So,if i tell you the way, maybe it will not work on your device.
That's way i told you if you can "return" and unlock it with "Mio Moov Unlock" way.

    OK!!!!
THIS GUIDE IS FOR MANY MANY MIO MOOV SPIRIT MODELS.

That is what you have to do:

Unrar & put the folder "Mio Unlocker" on the desktop and connect your gps/pna on pc.
Run Setup.exe and press install desktop.
(You will see the status "lock" goes from "yes" to "NO").

Into the rar there is a modified "Autorun.mscr" that allows an automatic change on the registry of your pna.
So any time you restart your pna (when on RESET) , it restarts 2 times,it's normal, don't worry!!!

Put your sd card into the pna with primo 2.4 inside.(Delete any SAVE folder, add all files, licenses, content, data etc and obviously tmc licenses)
    Add dimka skin 1.7.4.
After this you have to create a shortcut on the Desktop of your pna:
From your pc go to Mio Spirit 575 and follow
Program Files/Unlock/Desktop/Name of your folder where is P2.4. and in this folder put the shortcut Primo 2.4 of the .exe (its a .lnk file).

Let's go to PRIMO 2.4 now:
Delete any SAVE folder from primo.
Run the program & after the configuration go to Settings/Display and as Scheme Night & Day both select dimka skin 1.7.4.
Restart your pna so dimka skin takes effect.
After turn of primo and connect your pna to pc.
Go to PRIMO folder and in save/profiles/01/userlists add tmc_stations.txt file
Add also dll files to the root of primo. (where is the .exe)

Start your primo.exe and on TMC select as scan mode Auto(Scan+List)tuner mode.
Attention:You have to connect your TMC receiver 3-5 seconds after the start and appearance of P_2.4 on your pna.

    Have fun.
