Please stay on topic , this is a poll about Nextgen VS Primo and not a topic to ask for help on your iGO issues.
    Thanks

I have just voted for Primo.

The only thing in my wishlist for both apps is to be recognized as navigation/geo app by android system, or in the other word, can be an option to run when click on address in txt, webpage, or contacts.

Currently, can not find any version of app satisfies this requirement.

Then I take one step back, can access the address in contacts from app.
Primo can access address in contacts from app, while no version of nextgen can.
    So I voted for Primo.

I have installed both app on my Nexus 6 and let them share maps/poi/... .
I like the map display by NextGen better.

I think there should be an option to change your vote. That way, if I voted Primo but now I like Nextgen more, I could do it, and we will all see when Nextgen finally becomes the favorite. Those who voted months ago can now or in the future grow fond of Nextgen with all the new improvements.

I did not vote yet, as I thought (and do think) it is too soon to make the step to NextGen. Primo still is superior, my 2cts. At least for now. The future I can't predict but any vote will be definitive.

Maybe close the poll sooner and start a new one? That way will show the evolution of the software.

I use iGO from 2006 to today.
My first PDA was Asus 636N long time ago with iGO and I was very happy.

    Spoiler: picture, bad

Between 2008 - 2009 in my car was 6" dedicated GPS with analog TV. I change it for low memory and old maps !
From 2009 until 2014 i used portable dedicated Win-CE GPS ( four or five different product with different lcd dimension, cpu and memory ) - with iGO
Now I use Android - with iGO.

It is possible in next years i need to go with NEXT but .....

So now for me iGO Primo are the best

    NextGen:
    - modern graphic design
    - is a relative new product
    - time will show a lot of bugs that need to be repaired
    - without UX folder is NextGen unusable
    - very poor technical support (official and unofficial too, both of them)
    - some versions are problematic for installing the complete content only to SD card
    - we have to wait for development later versions (for the better comparasion with older iGO Primo)

    Primo:
    - very old graphic design
    - product is old but very run-in
    - it contains a number of modifications or SKINs
    - all the problems of the warez scene can be immediately resolved (fast technical support)
    - each service center to know him well (perfect technical support)
    - all files can be placed on the external SD-card (all except .apk after installation)
    - it is a certainty for many years of development

    I am voting for Primo.
But I am planning to try the iGO NextGen later too ^^

iGO NextGen is the most advanced software. Requests more hardware resources for vectorial graphics, but it isn't a problem anymore on the new devices.
Very good for high resolutions. Ver. Nextgen from iCarNav is stable and fully functional ( including online services with purchased license).
