NextGen is a program which makes me feel sometimes very
    different.
    It has online informations
about the weather , parking, real traffic, google search,
    Which is very useful...
Very nice navigation , etc..., nice tts, etc...

    But from the other side...
    1)No skins, only ux...

2)i try to modify lua files and
    I had many problems...

    A)Fewer menus...

    B)No bottom menu....
    We use bottom menu
    To add some useful buttons.

    C)Next Gen cannot appear
Very big(very big resolutions) bmp files.
    We must use smaller
And we dont have the best view.
We use them in to schemes for the sky.

    And many other problems.
3)It has a very smaller menu for the user..
    With black and white view
    For that i vote Primo

For the evolution I vote for Nextgen. I am sure all issues will be overcome while the software matures. I personally have problems too with my other phone (Mate 7) on which sometimes nextgen hangs but I'm sure it is some configuration issue.

Too early, to create this thread.
Nextgen needs a time.... and you know it. Yes, Nextgen its good, but to be good as Primo is - we need some more wait.

    Hello everyone

For my part, I'm like some of you, I much prefer to iGO iGO primo nextgen with skins such as that of the Dream Team, or Doupas (these are the two that I use), it is Clearly this is exceptional navigation program

but do not forget that it has been years that skineurs working on it while nextgen is very recent, and that many users could not back up their opinion because it is available only recently cracked version

so you have to leave a little time to time but it is clear that the graphic part really needs to be improved, by cons, for installation, it is easier to set up the iGO Primo

Ow management is a negative point for me (which is not necessarily the opinions of skineurs), because after a while, we do not know what to serve this or that stream (in France we already asking questions which have been added and what is their function

So right now, I give my voice to iGO Primo

Before Primo... there was IGO 8. It was great actually. With a dimka skin, super efficient even on crappy winCE devices, I don't count the android version... its NOT classic igo8 but some amigo +primo abortion

    Primo itself... lets see
*new skins were a shock.. but 100% required for usability
    *GL support broken
*several key press and confirmations to avoid roads
*tells me CO2 emissions and not $$ when planning route
    *routing 10% smarter than myway
*extra convenience things like parking around destination, show certain POIs, etc.
-Still needs MAAANY sys.txt mods to make it a navigator and not some phone toy

    Nextgen
    *GL + DPI settings
*much better/more labels visible on roads
    *less cluttered menu
    *avoid roads easily now
*no quick menu so needs more UX addons
*less settings for sys.txt to get useable
    *more and more "online" features..
ok I get it.. but I can use google maps for free if I need all of that and want my gps coordinates sent to a 3rd party

so long story short the UI/engine is better on nextgen. A properly cracked version for content and maybe it will be my new igo8

I think that NextGen will soon offer better skins than the primo, there are good developers playing with it.
