I tried the iGo Primo truck and it works on my Jensen VX7020, but the problem is no sound. I did not copy the sys.txt from my old sd card, you think it will solve the problem ?

After four months of silence, costs nothing to try
There are only few users of such a device, I doubt that anyone could greatly assist. Don't worry, you cannot damage it with sys.txt experiments. Go for it and tell us the results.
Also, you can mix contents of two different sys files. You can copy only sound section (from original sys to new and/or vice versa), for example.

I tried it and it worked but the sound is low volume and distorted a little bit.
I did some more digging around and I found iGo2.4 , today i tried it and it works perfectly without any need to modify any file !

I used 2015 HERE maps for New Zealand and it works perfectly.

Ok, "mr.hellome", if you want help somebody else, then you need to be more precise
There are lot of 2.4 versions. "Truck" and 'Honda Civic Reborn" recomended by mr. "Midnight Blues" are basicly the same. The differences are only in the settings and the accompanying files.
Shere your knowledge, post your settings, and that can be beneficial to the other owners of jensen device.

I used iGo2.4 truck, put the files in the same structure as the original SD card but renames the igo app to MobileNavigator .

Hello, I don't want to start a new thread, but along these lines I recently purchase a Jensen VX7022 and went to update the maps. I loaded the navitool box software from the naviextras website and went to do a backup. The backup failed twice, then my pc prompted me to format the sd card (win10). I stopped, canceled and removed the sd card. Now the Sd card is not recognized in navitool box and the navigation button on my jensen head unit doesn't work.

I'm going to order a spare 8GB sd card, but I was wondering where to download the files I need for Igo Primo truck? the naviextras and jensen websites haven't been much help yet.

I've read a lot in the last two hours, but I'm not seeing much as to where to get the actual files, and does the alternate program to load maps have a different name?

    Thanks!

    Hi TRDjensen

I think your problem is some kind of corruption on SD card.
First you have to copy all contents from SD to folder on PC to do backup.
Create folder on PC (name it BACKUP1) and copy complete structure together with any folder in root of SD (I presume it is "MobileNavigator" or "iGO" or something similar) in it.

Next, you should do all changes on second SD (you need one) to prevent further damage of data.
Copy all contents to new SD from PC (from backup) to have exactly same structure as original.
Try this copy in navigation to see if it works at all.
To be able to help you solving this problem (map update) with minimum changes on existing software (preserve maximum compatibility) you will have to provide us som parts of your software.

    1. Create new folder on PC for that purpose, you can name it BACKUP2
    2. In this folder copy everything from BACKUP1 folder
    3. Now in this BACKUP2 delete all contents of folders: building, dem, lang, map, poi, speedcam and voice (in content sub-folder) and all contents of save folder
    4. Compress with WinRAR complete BACKUP2 folder and upload to any file hosting server like [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]
    5. Post link to that here so we can analyze it and suggest best solution

Download primo. Rename exe file to NavigatorMobile.exe, rename folder NavigatorMobile, copy all maps, Poi to theirfolder, use the sys. txt that came with yours, reformat your sd card after you save everything in there to another folder, copy new folder to sd and away you go.
