Default install GPS software into car headunit?

    Hello.

I have a Nakamichi headunit and it's being advertised as GPS ready. On their manual, they were showing IGO8 in the pictures which led me to believe IGO works on this unit.

Anyway, Any ideas on how do I install the software + update maps (found a download link for the updates maps where here in this forum)?

    Thanks a lot

Android or WinCE? Does it have a SD slot? What does the manual say? What country are you in or will my UK maps be OK? To many questions about some random unit like 1000's of others.

I'm sorry for not providing those info.

It's running on WinCE and yes it has a SD slot.

I have downloaded the app + update maps for my country (Malaysia). I just don't know how to "put it all together".

I've attached the folder structure for the app and the updates maps.

    Thanks again

Hello. Inside the "content" folder are folders to store files you have in "Malaysia" folder. You understand?

    just another question though.

It seems there are iGO primo/8.0/8.3.

Are updated maps compatible with all recent versions of these apps? or should I stick with primo/8.3?

    Thanks again
