    Default iGo primo 9.6.29.404739 and HTC M8 problem

    Hi everyone. I have a strange problem meaning that as soon as iGo loads, screen starts blinking until becoming black. The program is working as i can listen to the sounds when pressing the screen but for the life of me i cannot understand what is wrong. I even tried earlier versions of iGO with the same results.

    I found only 1 similar case where it was suggested to use the following:

    [debug]
    max_memory=400000000
    reserve_memory=15000000
    cache=2048

    But it really made no difference. We are talking about a massive phone that shouldn't have this problems. I even tried these settings in an "empty" sys.txt to be sure that it's not any of my entries but same result.

    Can you think of anything else that might be interfering?

    I think that the problem is the sdcard(external) and the permission which Google remove.

    Do you have root permissions?

    If not ,you must

    1)move the iGO folder in internal memory

    OR

    2)move the igo folder in sdcard(external memory)
    Inside Android folder....
    Read this please

    If you have root permissions
    Download the sdcard kit kat fixer apk from play store.
    Run it without do anything with IGO folder

    Thanks for replying.

    Yes, i'm rooted and on custom ROM and kernel with the sdcard read/write permissions fixed.
    At this point i will try anything you suggest because i'm stumbed. Same configuration is running fine on my One X.

    Let me try your suggestions and get back to you.

    Thanks a lot for the suggestions. I downloaded the sd kitkat fixer and i suspected i was already on "fixed"
    Regardless, i tried moving iGO folder on internal memory and kept "content" folder on sdcard (which is what i wanted anyway since i have arounf 7GB of data there) which seems that fixed the problem. I will check it out also tomorrow when i have to travel and report back.

    In any case thanks a lot for the help!!

    if you run the sd card fixer apk , its not neccessary to move the iGO folder inside internal memory
    you have already fix the sd card permission problem.
    let it in sd card memory and try run the primo,

    I had the same problem with my new M8. Try to use another version of IGO. I had to find a version that the data.zip matched the skin multimode.ini and all others. Now I use a version of IGO Basasoft. I also found an Israel version in which I did not have to change the sys.txt for the resolution and it works without a problem. I hope this helps.
