    Hi,
    about, you can not find no reference in the speed cameras warnings in the menu settings page it is perfectly normal !
    And that because the official Primo comes with that parameter in data.zip.

    But if you want to see the speedcameras warnings as you like then do the following:
    Cut your data.zip in a safe place.
    Then download this data.zip (that comes from International Edition) that I have modified just for you.
    [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]

    Copy this data.zip into the path: Primo\ .
    Run the International edition and you will see the speedcamera warnings in the menu settings (test it in the default skin).

    If you use skin (except dimka) maybe and the skin need modifications up to 5 lines.

    Yes most times you can overide the distance in sys.txt.
    example. Either a general one

    warn_distances="120:500,110:460,100:420,90:380,80: 340,70:300,60:26 0,50:220,40:180,30:140,20:100"
    approach_beep_distances="50,90,150,250"

    or individually ..example:
    [speedcam_category:0]
    activated_spoken_type=speech
    activated_speech="Caution speed camera ahead"
    ;overspeed_spoken_type=1
    warn_distances="110:800,100:400,90:400,80:300,70:300,60:250,50:200,40:200"

    hi!
    Not able to create a new thread...(number of posts<10)
    i work on igo 2.0.1 ver 9.6.1.232 in a INE-W920R Alpine

    i have a problem with speedcam alerts, i ticked the sound and visual alert for speedcams in the igo menu but i get only the visual alert but no sounds and no voices alerts.
    could you help me to get this sounds alerts thank you

    Update:17 may After testing and deleting all files od SPEEDCAM folder except the speedcam.tx Miracle ! i got one sound alert on a very specific speedcam place and in only one direction but most of time it is not working. Is there in the speedcam.txt a parameter which activates the function?
    I got the speedcam.txt from scdb.info site.

    A question: where does the igo software records the datas about alert point like "speedcam" which are entered manually? is that in speedcam.txt ? or elsewhere...

    Thank you

    Regards
    K

    speedcams added or edited from within the primo software I think are saved in the SpeedcamUpdates.spud file
