    So the loquendo engine work very fine for me. The commands came very direct und clear.
    Only one thing i cant get to work is the speak of the traffic signs ... with no version (Loquendo or nuance)
    i can get it work.

    Any idea how to search for this issue ? Maybe a part in the project_config\igo_nextgen.ini ?

    What do you mean...traffic signs?
    Driver alerts from road comes from ux files in nextgen, then lang read them , and TTS speak....

    Speedcam alerts comes from speedcam .txt files, ux speedcam filter them, and TTS speak....

    If you want to hear traffic, for example : Road in 245 Km is closed........., then this is huge job and needed to have some mods.....
    In lang file, in voice file.....and as I remember iGO Android do that...but I think and in nextgen can be.....I haven't search yet.....

    Keep in mind:
    TTS Read the map.....don't read traffic signs in map.....
    but when you see a traffic sign in the map....and at the top of the screen you have :"Congestion.........." then TTS speak that.....
    in iGO Primo (Iam sure) I haven't search in nextgen.

    Hey zervdim,

    if i drive down a road with a stop sign on its end, the voice from the radio gets down as expected
    and the traffic sign appear on the left site above the speedbut no voice came.
    But i got this problem not only with your version, with all other versions i got this too.

    Maybe my data.zip is not compatible with this feature ... could you give me a hint how to search for that ?
    My question is how i can solve this ... you seems to know very well about the tts engine

    Regards,
    Snot

    This problem is not from TTS.....
    It seems that you have sth in sys.txt....or sth strange maybe comes from nextgen.ini in data.zip......but sure the problem might comes from sys.txt...

    In a few days I will send to you sth that will work....

    Hi Snotmann.

    About sound becomes lower when TTS voice is talking. You can simply make this working. When hearing TTS voice, than immediatly turn radio volume a lot louder during speaking. And you will see that sound of radio is the same as voice.

    Hey Kajoe,

    its working ... so if the radio sound get silent in front of a traffic sign and i turn up the volume, the radio stay silent for a short time until the tts message with dont came out is spoken.
    So the tts engine turn the radio sound correctly but the traffic sign is not spoken, and then the sound is getting louder.

    Maybe you could have a look to my sys.txt and data.zip ...

    Many regards,
    Snot

    I think , have missed sth...

    What is your problem, I don't understand at all!!!

    If you like please answer the following to fix problem:

    If you don't have media on (without music playing) do you listen the driver alert or NO?

    The problem exit only when music is playing....and the cut off time (duration music-TTS) is too long? So, in this case you don't hear driver alert (traffic signs in your translation)?

    Hi Snotmann. I do not see something weird for voices. I only see in you debug, that you have "no_file_cache=0". I think you do not need that.

    You can try adding the following text in sys:
    In [Debug]
    tts_min_ready_wav=1
    tts_getaway_time=100
    tts_expected_engine_delay=1400
    sound_q_length=200

    [sound]
    pause_mp3_sooner=1
    ding_muted=1
    enable_waveout_based_ebp=1
    waveout_based_muting_fill_value=1
    sound_level_0=16383
    sound_level_1=28671
    sound_level_2=40959
    sound_level_3=45055
    sound_level_4=49151
    sound_level_5=53247
    sound_level_6=57343
    sound_level_7=61439
    sound_level_8=65535
    use_method=4
    used_byte_in_method=7
    use_os_volume=1
    os_volume=255
    master_volume="255"
    csv_voice_enabled=1
    effect_volume=255
    guidance_volume=255
    os_muted=0 ; 1 - sound off
    maneuver_chimes=0
    mute_os_key=1
    sound_muted=1

    [warning]
    is_spoken=1
    speedcam_enabled=1
    speedcam_warning=1
    speedcam_max_lookahead=3000
    speedcam_maxdistance_from_road=10
    speedlimit_warning_visual=1
    speedcam_continuous_approach_beep_when_tonal=0
    overspeed_sound=0

    [tts]
    tts_buffer=131072
    announce_exit_directions=1
    tts_logics=3
    priority="HIGH"
    always_say_road_names=3
    announce_street_name=1
    skip_exit_numbers=0

    [vmc_voice]
    enter_script="sc_volmanager_voice"
    vmc_effect=100
    vmc_media=40

    [volume_channels]
    volumefade=3000

    [vr]
    disabled=0

    Let me know if it works after you removed your line in sys and after adding these lines in you sys.

    You can try what kajoe suggest to you....

    In data.zip you upload:
    nextgen.ini inside data zip have this entry:
    [volume_channels]
    channels=vmc_phone,vmc_phoneeffect,vmc_vr,vmc_alarmeffect,vmc_voice,vmc_effect,vmc_media,vmc_ding
    volumefade=1000

    For me, solution is one:
    Keep your sys.txt, I liked it's simple and not complicated!
    But add the following lines to your sys.txt and play with "values":

    [volume_channels]
    volumefade=3000

    3000 mean, that in 3000msec it's time to change from media(music for example) to TTS.....
    High value , fast change.
    Low value , low change!!!!!

    [vmc_voice]
    enter_script="sc_volmanager_voice"
    vmc_effect=100
    vmc_media=40

    100 mean, that when you have navigation you will hear 100% of laoudness for navigation
    40 mean, that when you have navigation you will hear 40% of laoudness from media (music)

    [sound]
    pause_mp3_sooner=1

    1 means that when TTS try to speak, then media stoped. After end of TTS speaking media come back to play in time that you have set in :
    volumefade=3000

    Try it and tell us...
