It is different display driver for Oreo, impossible to use Primo on it.

Primo does not work on Oreo (8.x) and newer Android editions.
You can use this ux only up to Nougat (7.x) version.
Update:

To be absolutely sure which version of android you have in your device, do not read data from the system, they are often fake
For example, use the CPU-Z application - under you system info tab, there is an true API level.
