Such as Google TTS and others.
The myth that some Nextgen versions absolutely need another redundant TTS engine installed exclusively to the Nextgen folder is just nonsense.
My advice would be for people to not infect their system with wonky badly edited files that frankly don't work very well.
And NOBODY needs a mile long sys.text just to get a voice to work.
It's not a myth and definitely not nonsense. It's incompatible voice.zip with proggy. There are MANY fields in voice.zip that proggy may or may not use and trying the find a "correct" value to work for a particular voice engine can be a tedious "trial and error*" I didn't have time to messed with it before but I spent 15min before going to sleep last night to figure it out. I now know what Basarsoft wants for it to use VocalizerEx and I can have both voice.zip files that uses nuance_ve1 or VocalizerEx. And the reason that some people are able to use VocalizerEx with Basarsoft is because the "correct" setting in their voice.zip file that works with VocalizerEx. BTW, nuance_ve1 is far inferior to VocalizerEx (at least for American)

    * android expect different fields to get set differently compared to WinCE and now we know Basarsoft expect different values as compared to other proggy. So trying to find one "holy grail" setting will be time consuming (unless you're the one that wrote the code)

Update: I've added new voice files that should work with NextGen and Basarsoft at [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]

    Possible. I thought he didn't download global_cfg
But we can not give more assistance while he do not describe in detail what he did and how.

If he is using the pack in this post, it already has global_cfg.zip I do not know why people are having trouble with this pack, if your directory is iGO_Basar (as indicated in original post), then it should find what it needs.
