    I guess it must be something from the skin. There should be an option show city name under settings/navigation view/map appearance/town and postal code...

    Oh yes that is the way creator of this plug-in did. I will do some research if there is a better plug-in.

    These are the parameters inside ui file

    Spoiler: UI CODE
    ------mod by FRONTZOSD

    ----city name

    ----

    <modify lm_MapVisualSettings>
    <insert after="default">
    <row prio=4200 text="Town and Postal Code" haspopover=1 details=(sc_Town(%lua.town)) onrelease='sc_SetPopoverListAndOpen("ui.lm_Town_popover")'/>
    </insert>
    </modify>

    <userlist lm_Town_popover text="str" onrelease="ui" enable="bool">
    <default enable=1/>
    <row text="Disable" onrelease='MODEL.lua.town = 0 sc_ClosePopover()'/>
    <row text="City Name" onrelease='MODEL.lua.town = 1 sc_ClosePopover()'/>
    <row text="City&ZipCode" onrelease='MODEL.lua.town = 2 sc_ClosePopover()'/>

    </userlist>

    <layer ui_ShowTown>

    <DIV class="cockpit">

    ;<TEXT class="btn_infofield2" visible=(%lua.town != 0) color=#0000FF glowcolor=#FFFFFF fontsize=30 glowtype=1 glowsize=2 text=%navigation.car.address.city visible=(%lua.town == 1)>

    <TEXT class="btn_infofield2" color=#0000FF glowcolor=#FFFFFF glowtype=1 glowsize=2 text=%navigation.car.address.city visible=(%lua.town && (%lua.town == 2 || %lua.town == 1))>

    <TEXT class="btn_infofield3" class="font_sec bd" color=#00FF00 glowcolor=#FFFFFF glowtype=1 glowsize=2 text=%navigation.car.address.zip visible=(%lua.town && (%lua.town == 2))>

    </DIV>

    </layer>

    Try playing with HEX color code....black is #000000

    Try new ux/SKIN and DATA. Still fast and more options.

    Rename old UX to something just to test new one. Unzip this one to UX and upload it.

    Interesting, in the source code, it should be #000000 not ##000000 Parser might be forgiving, but it's better be safe than sorry.

    I have to try that, because when I change HEX code, ux disappears from navigation.

    You have any ideas?

    Are you saying that you changed ##000000 to #000000 and it stopped working?

    Ok, you went back and changed the original source in your post so that it no longer had ##000000. Is that an error on your part or was ##000000 originally there and was working?

    I think I caused the error, because if I leave ui without any changes it works, but when I change ux code and zip it again and upload as Town.zip I cannot see it in navigation anymore no option City name under settings/map appearance menu.

    I do not understand what the problem is, HEX code is just color....or maybe it breaks during unzip/zip process...

    Simply if I touch anything i there it does not work, if I leave it like that (original) it works????

    If you give wrong syntax such as missing ; or ## or wrong comment, etc...it won't work because lua is interpreted not compiled and unless there are some sort of debug/log to look at, you probably don't know what's wrong. What editor are you using? You need to use one that can handle both DOS/Unix because of end of line conversion. When you "zipped" it back up, did you use the correct version of Winrar? Wrong .zip format will prevent iGO from reading/extracting the .zip file.
