    So for NA.

Address Points (FPA) - Don't work
Junction View - NG (FJW) - Don't work... but at least show up
HNR - For some reason Green doesn't work.

Everything else appears OK. Historical traffic shows up better than on primo, you can see all of the colors.

Marv, the most important thing..Online Search...is NOT working with NG. If they can get that working, I am getting rid of primo on my phone. NG is just so much snappier.

Not just online search but online fuel and traffic. On my stand alone GPS though they are a bit irrelevant.

Could anyone explain me how do these POIs (USA_..._HERE_2015.Q2_150925.poi) and (USA_..._HERE_Extended_2015.Q2_150611.poi) work? I mean, does the program pick it up by release date or one complement other or one substitute of other?
It's funny, in nextgen I can see both of these and after few seconds (USA_..._HERE_Extended_2015.Q2_150611.poi) just disappears from the list.
    Thanks.

I've found that in iGo8/Primo that they complement each other. The extended POI file contains additional POIs above and beyond the regular POI file (but not the same POIs as the regular POI file). I just found this out - originally, I thought that the extended POI file contained all regular POIs plus some other, but that doesn't seem to be the case.

If you have normal POI and extended POI, you will get two matches (if they both exists) in searching. One will contained the address/phone info and the other will not. The one with address/phone info is from the extended POI. This also applied when you have both HERE and TomTom POI's.

Actually, that is not the case. What I've found is that there aren't duplicates between the normal and extended POI's, so you don't get duplicates. Like I said, it seems that they are designed to compliment each other. For example, if you only have the extended POI's installed, you will be missing all of the POIs that are in the standard POI files - so very common things such as McDonalds won't even be present.

So it seems that the extended POI files only make sense if you also have the standard POI files installed.

I can see some duplicates in my Primo, not many but... When I say duplicates I mean duplicates. All information is identical (address, phone, website).

Interesting... Obviously, I have no way to search ALL POIs for duplicates, but I didn't see any duplicates when looking around my area. Then when I removed the standard .poi file and just left the extended .poi file in place, I noticed that the majority of the "main" POIs (Restaurants, gas stations, etc) were no longer available.

I guess *some* duplicates made their way through though! :-)

Just curious, are the duplicates major POI's such as major restaurants, gas stations, etc? Do you have an example of one (just the name of the POI)? Want to see if I can find any duplicates in my area...
