Which version/issue of NextGen are your using ? (can you give a link?) - as this map doesn't work in the version I'm using.

I take it that you are using HERE_2014.Q2_Australia Maps, have the same version of NextGen, no other maps maps valid / valid licence ?

    OK, I'm a bit confused.
I downloaded the 'Australia_-_HERE_2015.Q2.rar and unrar'd it into a new folder.
My SD card is blank, formatted and ready to move files on it.
In the unrar'd folder, i don't see any folder structure, just a bunch of poi, fbl, zip, etc files and no executables.
What am i missing and what is the folder structure to construct a new SD card?
I'm newb at this so bare with me.

You put the files in the location that your proggy was installed. The meaning and location are explained at [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]

    Hi Osiris.
I bought a used vehicle with no SD card in the GPS system, so had to research which system or 'proggy' it uses and create a new SD card from scratch.
Which brought me to this page and worked out that it uses Navteq, but yeah you're right i think i need something to run the map files like the proggy part. Where do i find the proggy part that matches the maps?

Do you know if it's WinCE or android? For WinCE, I would stick with iGO/Primo (not NextGen) and for android you might be able to use NextGen. If you are planning to use Australia/New Zealand map, there is no license for it under NextGen, so you have to use iGO/Primo. Which version depends on your display resolution and CPU. BTW, Navteq/HERE is a map maker not proggy. Garmin, Sygic, NNG and others manufacturer uses Navteq. Most likely it's NNG for you (but only way to be sure is to find make of hardware)

    It's WinCE.
    Display resolution is 800 x 480 (16:9)
    128MB Ram. CPU? not sure.
Originally according to the previous owner, the SD card was a Naviextras one.
I know you can't set a path in the settings because the SD card has nothing on it yet and there is no setting i can see in the touchscreen menu that allows you to set a path to the Navi.
Every time i press the Navi button or the Navigation button on the touchscreen, it just beeps at me a couple of times.
That's why I'm trying to build a SD card from new, because there is no Navigation SD card built yet that it can access in the slot.
An old crash log he sent me might help, if you understand this as i don't.
