    hi,
    I have iGO Primo Israel 9.6.29.483387 (31 Jan 2015) and all is nearly ok.
    I copied Europe_83_TA_071026.dem and put it in iGO>content>dem but nothing happened.
    May be, someone can me explain if i copied the good one (i need western europe and Poland (but i think that Poland is in western europe)) and if i put it in the good place.
    And, last thing, HOW it works?
    Thanks.
    Regards.

    Have you enabled DEM?
    Settings -> map settings -> height difference on/off (I use Dutch iGO so translation might a bit off)
    Also your location and camera angle used have an influence on how well you can see the actual height differences. Personally i find the Premium DEM's to be the best/most detailed.

    If .dem file is really present in DEM directory, than it's enabled by default and it should work (unless there is a sys entry maybe which disables it, but I'm not familiar with such entry).

    Europe_83_NASA_071128.dem covers entire Europe, including Poland.

    [map]
    3d_buildings=1
    3d_landmarks=1
