Looks like someone reached the same conclusion I did about the new windows platforms. Coming from win95 and windows mobile (the old one)... after 7, maybe 8.1 I'm done and android has beaten new windows offerings since gingerbread. Here makes the best maps I've used so far. Tomtom maps are lacking in my country.

Seems that alot of companies dont like Microsoft

I can see an end of the platform in the coming quarters.

Perhaps their recent love for open-source platform will save them?

Microsoft doesn't love open source, they might have claimed they did but it didn't take long for the truth to emerge, Microsoft only cares about Microsoft....

I pulled out of Windoze several years ago. Using Linux Mint on primary laptop and Lubuntu on small x86 64bit media box running Kodi. Hate having to revert to Windoze to use Garmin apps found here on The Power! I'm curious what peeps here do about that: run a virtual windoze os in Linux or maybe use a Mac? I have been considering the Mac because apparently it can run the Z shell with Oh-my-zsh, Conky, and all the stuff I run on Linux. Any thoughts?
