Yes, Giomen, but still trying to understand how it works... Mapinstal,Homeport, GPS mapper, JaVaWa GMTK, Map Source fix as well, my rifle is loaded, yet unable to shoot the correct target in " Trouble shooting" :-(
Catymag, thanks for the link, but just let me know which option to use : there are two options to download and a "code" below-I'm not kidding-I'm very serious- but still very very illiterate, and to prove it again, shall explain how I deploy/organize my Garmin's tackles :-) on my PC.: On C/prgram data I found a Garmin folder which was created automatically when I started Garmins ordeals, and on forums instructions , I put all garmin files, maps, programs etc, scattered till that moment all over PC. Don't know right or wrong, but when I download maps, I can't see them installed in Mapsource or Homeport-only some of them...may be I'm doing sth, erratically when I download, unzipp or find right place to put files, that's why I'm asking you Catymag...
So promissed is promissed: Yesterday a friend of mine, who is ahead of me in that sophisticated matter, tried to install a Blue Chart 2g, because he was sure Vision variant was not possible, in addition to Topo map on the SD, using tricks abt renaming files, but it wouldn't happen, unfortunately. Finally, it came to his mind, that he had an old SD abt half a,GB,somewhere in his house, found it and installed the blue chart, but a good f@ck up again, the SD card turned out to be in Cyrilic.... some more prayers to God of software, and finally it worked, but quite modestly...so for time being I have two SDs, but like to ask Caty: Is it possible to install the Blue Chart from the link provided by him/she on a separate SD and what capacity of SD is required, naturally, following instructions, which I dare hope to receive :-) if I haven't turn into a "pain in the ass" so far, for what I beg your pardon...

easy rider, your device support only one gmapsupp.img file with max size 4GB on micro SD (size of microSD may be up to 32 Gb and microSD must have HC specification only). You can use Mapsource but some Garmin maps format like BlueChart G2 and G2 Vision do not have installer for Mapsource. Advanced user may to make Mapsource installation from any maps but you must read this forum from from beginning to end to become it.
In you case you must use gmaptool to combine maps simply...

You are absolutely right- I had to start from the very beginning, what I did, to grind down all knowledges that I miss, but, somehow, I came across an ocean of somewhat controversial and vague info, which I can not select and systemize to the best of my ability/ if any/, having grain, not the straw to avoid situation like this, ie, to make bricks without straw I tried to ask simple questions, awaitng simple answers to match my simplicity, anyhow. Here, by your courtesy, I learned more than months dedicated to this matter.

Catymag, thank you for reverting. As for the link, you posted, I already followed in advance yesterday, as if I knew for the gentle and helpful reproach, that was in store for me in Giomen's one, I'm thankfully reading now :-)

Once more, thank you all guys, for your assistance and friendly attitude to a total newbie.

I have a couple of maps on my SD Card that are all shown fine. My question is how do I use two different files for showing the 3D buildings?

Which model? You must add, if your device supports it, gmap3d.img unlocked-
