    Default Lock on Road

What is the main purpose of "Lock On Road?" Should I turn it ON or OFF?

Road Lock is a system whereby the GPS maintains your position icon "locked" to the road even when there are minor map errors or GPS position fix errors which would otherwise cause your position icon to be shown "off the roadway".

Very useful turn OFF of "Lock On Road" when you go in immediate proximity to road and you want see real position on the contrary a projection to road with turn ON of "Lock On Road".
On some devices and SW also you can store real tracks by existing roads only if turn OFF of "Lock On Road".
