No later cx map for Chennai, sorry. Check the Garmin site:
    Code:
Please Login or Register to see the links
    From that, under 'Coverage Details':
    "About Coverage

Includes detailed road maps and points of interest for Chennai, India, with the ability to navigate using buses, tramway, metro and suburban rail systems (where available. Not all cities include all public transit types).

Features detailed coverage for the greater Chennai area and surrounding cities.

*Coverage area map shows major roads, highways and points of interest only. Enhanced pedestrian navigation coverage varies within the area shown.
    Version: 2010.10
    Released: Mar, 2010
    Part Number: 010-D0758-00"

But, hey! It's a 10 buck map for a BIG city... not gonna be perfect. Ok if you don't like buses . Glad you're finally sorted anyway .

    Thanks very much.

I have downloaded a NSW (sydney) xplorer map. When I tried to reach between places, even there it is not showing bus. it only shows train and walk.

I'll try to check with a latest cityXplorers available online

I've been trying to load CityXplorer Maps on my 2460 without any luck, the maps load but I'm not getting any of the CX features.
My 1490 loads CityXplorer maps with CX features without any problems. Is there a special work a round for the 2460 or am I just out of luck.
    Thanks for any help.

Try again using the modified FID 800 cx's for 37xx series. They will also work in your 1490.

    @Caty,
Does that mean that with 2xxx even if you turn GPS off in simulator mode that you cannot see EPM or calculate a simulated CX route also?

Thanks Caty. I don't have one either and was just curious. Maybe dc8 will be good enough to post the results from his 2460 after tying both and help others.
