Reports folder contains the mileage.csv , a file that will give you a summary of all of your trips, cost, etc. as part of the ecoRoute feature: it contains the following fields, Date (MM-DD-YYYY),Start Time,Origin Longitude,Origin Latitude,Destination Longitude,Destination Latitude,Origin,Destination,Distance (km), Time (min), Fuel Economy (l/100km), Fuel Cost (EUR), Carbon Footprint (kg).
Scores.bin is related to Overall : a combination of the speed acceleration and braking score,
and to Speed : gain points for driving at your vehicle's optimal speed for conserving fuel.

And what about the nuvi 1350 directories and files? Are the same as nuvi 3790? (obviously excluding JVC, etc.). In my 1350 there are several .scr files (with the same names of existing files) that my anti virus thinks are viruses. Are they?

    File Management Strategy
The first post in this thread, as well as others, added greatly to my knowledge. Also, this knowlwdge has me in a position to do myself a lot of damage that I'm hoping someone can help me avoid.

My situation: *1490T with lifetime MAP upgrades, and 4GB SD card. *I've set it to store Track Logs, which are stored by default in System/Logs/gpx. * I'd like to move recording of the track logs to the SD card, but don't know the conditions or consequences. *Map updates invariably give me a headache because it's reported that I "don't have enough space". My headache occurs as I struggle to decide what files and folders I can move or delete. (I backup to my PC before before moving or deleting)

What would help a lot is to put files & folders into categories, something like the following:

A - Don't move or delete these file/folders, else unit won't work: xxxxx, yyyyyy, etc.
B - These files/folders can be moved from to if:
C - These files/folders can, unconditionally, reside in either the unit's RAM, or the SD card. rrrrrrr, ssssss, etc.
    D - Whatever categories I've missed.

    Gary,
    There's Always a Better Way

    Default Trips folder.

    Location = Nuvi\.system\trips
This is for trip planner files.
You can back up this folder. (All files in this folder will be deleted when you do a hard reset.)

A bit of [possibly useless] info:

006-D0952-*.bin files in ExtData folder are simple TTF (TrueType) font files XORed with 0x76 byte, in the very end, zero character is added, and then the filename without an extension.

    As for the charsets,
    006-D0952-01 contains Chinese symbols,
    006-D0952-02 - Japanese,
    006-D0952-03 - Korean,
    006-D0952-04 - Thai,
    006-D0952-05 - Arabic Bold,
    006-D0952-06 - Arabic,
    006-D0952-07 - Hebrew Bold,
    006-D0952-08 - Hebrew.

Modern "On the Trail" devices (Astro, Dakota, Edge 800, eTrex 20/30, GPSMAP 62/78, Montana, Oregon, Rino 6xx) only recognize the font files 05 and 06.
The 3.xx firmwares for GPSMAP 62/78, and all FWs for GPSMAP 62c/sc also can use the fonts 07 and 08.

    What about 006-D0952-09 & 006-D0952-10?
I found it in all new Nuvi 1xxx, but no info in inventory!
