Does anybody knows how to return this feature? That I could use the Language Guide again.
After recent updates, Language Guide can only be run from the SD card (both, language files and *.unl). Read more here. [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]

    I will try to explain:
I have unlocked Language Guide on the my SD card. It works perfect on my EU version of firmware 4.90 - 5.10.
Because I have the Icon (Language Guide) on my Nuvi 1310 and could start it.
After reflashed my device by alternative firmwares US/SG 2.8 or US/JPN 2.7 - I couldn't find the Icon through which the Language Guide will start.

So my question: Who knows how to find (create) this Icon (Language Guide) on the SG and JPN versions of firmware?
    Please, help me

You will not to use the Webupdater, You must to use updater. It's work with .rgn versions of firmware. Place both (updater and xxx.rgn files) in one folder then start updater as I described befor.

I use the same sequence as it was in the SG 2.80 firmware:
    fw1_resources.bin
    and last fw_all.bin
Copy all files from your Nuvi (so you could return them).
Change Text and Voice folders to 1Text and 1Voice (for example) in your Nuvi befor start to flash.
Delete the gupdate.qcd in the System folder if it is there.
Then start to flash alternative firmware through updater as usually.
Thanks....i followed the US order and so got it wrong...i thot using US boot.bin and so should use the US order....

Actually, why the need to "improve" the 14xx firmware? Doesn't the 1400 support Lane assist+junction view+speed limit indicator in the base product? Please advise what I am missing here...

For example, 1410 MPC do not work with junction view on original soft!

Thanks.Works great on 1300.Do you know if 3D buildings (gmap3d.img) or photorealistic junction view work on 1300 after doing this. Are there any additional steps.
    Thanks,
