This modified splash is for US/EU devices only. Check if you have HWID of 0971 or 1106, if you have then it's a US/EU model, from Post #1:
How to check which chipset I have? Enter diagnostic menu by pressing battery icon for 5 seconds, press "next", then "start test" and "more". The first 3 entries show which chipset you have:
-regular chipsets in Europe and US: B0971 (for 12xx series) and B0972 (for 13xx/14xx series).
-MTK chipsets: B1104 (for 13xx/14xx series) and B1106 (for 12xx series).
You can also check in the GarminDevice.xml file located in the Garmin folder of the unit. Look for this near the start of the file:
    <Model><PartNumber>006-B0971-00</PartNumber>
    or
    <Model><PartNumber>006-B1106-00</PartNumber>

Probably not, unless you want to buy Loly a LOT of beer!

    [Loly = lolypop000 of course].

EDIT: Loly doesn't want the beer, drink it yourself or sent it to me. Better still, hit his 'Donate' button and send him some Euros to buy his own [I'm serious, everyone who gets the benefit of Loly's able helping hand here and elsewhere should toss in a couple of bucks to thank him and encourage his further work. The amount of work he has to do behind the scenes is not reflected by his brief, quiet and efficient posts visible here].

No, don't load V6.20 'coz that is US/EU firmware. For SG/MY device HWID 1193 the latest is V2.80 which you have. Info:

However, I'm now a little curious because when i was checking the Garmin SG website for the latest fw version, i see on the specs tab it's features include:

Speaks street names (e.g. "Turn right ON ELM STREET in 500 m."): yes

Lane info (guides you to the proper lane for navigation): yes (with junction view)

Speed limit indicator (displays speed limit for most major roads in the U.S. and Europe): yes

    Code:

Your SG/MY 1250 seems to already have JCV, LA, TTS & SLI as standard features. What were you hoping to enable, or did you want to convert your unit to US/EU? If so, this should be possible as the PCB PNs in your SG/MY fw matches the US/EU ones, 105-01432, 105-01554 & 105-01617.

You unit will handle a microSD card up to 32 Gib without problem. Just don't exceed a 4 GiB image size.

yes, i noticed that my SG/MY 1250 is supported the JCV but when i use the MSM NT and even City navigator map 2013, the JCV is not coming out (while trying to do the simulation route), that is why i want to try using this method.

Flashing the modded logo won't help, the feature was already enabled originally so it may simply be that you need to find a route where there are junction views available. Do you have the correct JCV file corresponding to your map on your unit or microSD too? unit:/.System/JCV/filename.jcv or sd:/Garmin/JCV/filename.jcv will work.

Do a simulation from the center of KL outbound on a route along a major highway. Scroll thru the route and if you see the grayed out words 'Junction View' at the base of the screen light up, press them to see the JuctionView. Nowhere near all junctions [interchanges] on major highways/freeways/expressways have a jcview even in the US, EU or AU major cities so be patient as there will not be a lot in MY either. If the map has a jcv file with it, you will see at least one on a long highway route somewhere.
