Thank you for the answers. @smokefree- I unchecked that option, new pick atached but I dont see any new folders outside the ones in the nr 2 pic from my post. gmapsupp.img.w6j is a key to unlock a certain version of the ROAD map. Rupdate.gcd perhaps stands from RomanianUpdate.gcd, but its only a blind shot.
@giomen-Yes, I am from Romania. When a new update was available for the preinstaled map of Romania ROAD, the developer e-mailed me, and asked me to sen him a file, named garmindevice.xml, to determine the right firmware update to allow the new ROAD map to be recognized by my nuvi. I believe SW stands for software(scuze my ignorance)? I have the latest ROAD version instaled, and thats when the trouble started.
I talked with the garmin dealer for Romania, and he said that basicaly its a comon problem with older nuvi's, the maps are too much for them and it might be that the device just kicked the bucketand I should send it to have it looked at. I am frustrated as hell, since I payed a lot of money for a lifetime update on both maps, and I just dont know what to erase, to clear space. Should I atempt a master reset, or just send it like it is to the local dealer; frankly, I'm afraid to do more damage than I might already have done. Also, in the folder named Poi, thare are a bunch of files, should I try to delete them, I really dont need Poi like petrol stations, restaurants, etc, I'm only intersted in getting from A-B. Erasing the current.gpx file from the GPX folder would help?

The common problem of all encrypted map developer (like Ukrainian or Romanian) is using of not original Garmin SW. By another word the developer needs to re-rebuild (c..r..a..c..k!!!) original SW for each new version from official Garmin. May be it is very difficult for it or even it needs in participate of third party which is not free of charge!
The Garmin dealer for Romania is not right. Garmin company supports an older model like your. The City Navigator NT version is bright example for this. The Nuvi 200 works fine with the whole coverage map from mentioned version. All your problem is connected with Romania ROAD only. But it is your problem only because the developer of the map does not want to upgrade your device to prevent of using the other maps?!

I strongly recommend to ask the developer of Romania ROAD for SW update. If he do not answer with positive result you have full right to use a legal pressure because you have the very significant legal reasons for update of SW. The experience of Ukrainian users gives a positive result, sometimes In any case than more claims is the higher probability to force him to move...

    Good luck!

The first you do not have any additional pois like petrol stations, restaurants, etc in your device. There are only speedcam databases from factory loading. The region of coverage of each of it is contained in name. If these regions is not actual for your closest perspective trip you can backup its on PC and delete.

current.gpx it is mirror of your favourites and current tracklog from protected storage of your device. You can delete it but it will be restored after turn on. Only clearing of user data may delete the content of this file. But keep in the mind the two things:
    1. The relative size that is occupied by favourites in this file is neglected and the most part of content is tracklog and so that we go to second things
    2. The clearing of tracklog is only temporary decision. You can disable tracklog statistic on hardware level. So the tracklog statistic will increase size of current.gpx in process of your driving. The size of the file is limited on hardware level and usually it is about 1.5 MB with plus-minus 0.5Mb.
So forget about experiment with deleting of the current.gpx file in searching of the decision. The Nuvi must have a sufficient free space in memory for temporary files like current calculated routes. If there are no pair of free Mb in older devices you will get your message: memory full and waypoint memory full.
