Timezone map is the same for all nuvis.
Every region has its own DEM map.
CNEU ASR should work for a smaller region too, CNNAM ASR wont work with CNNAM if it 's not the entire map.
Every CN has its own additional files,ASR SID JCV 3Dbuildings map etc; they wont work with a different release.

Can the ASR & JCV files all go in the "Same" folder, or do they each need their own folder?

ie: I have used Mapsource to send the CNE maps to my Micro-SD card on my 885, now I have to copy over the JCV files.

Do I create ANOTHER JCV folder on the SD card or copy the CNE JCV files into the JCV folder on the main unit that was created when I loaded the CNNA maps using the Garmin Map Updater ?

I think you can put both in the same SD/Garmin/JCV

You have use the same folder for all ASR & JCV files on SD for all maps.
Even if partial contents was loaded by MapSource a full JCV for coverage of partial contents work fine!

    Default RXN service

After visit in France I found a leak of memory (about 100Mb) on Nuvi 3490. After searching I found folder f:\.System\GPS\rxn\ that occupied this 100 Mb. I found link on this service:

    Code:
Please Login or Register to see the links
Praise the Lord, logging was stooped in MSL_Log.txt on 100Mb with the record: FILE AT CAPACITY - NO ADDITIONAL LOGGING AFTER THIS ENTRY! But small temporary files is overwritten during of each phone connecting. Anybody have this virus on your Nuvi?

So it mean what your device look forward for FILE AT CAPACITY - NO ADDITIONAL LOGGING AFTER THIS ENTRY! ?
Or you have less free space on Nuvi drive. Please check and see to end of MSL_Log.txt file for last record! Quote above from my 100 Mb (104.857.825 byte) file...
