help Dead Garmin 2595 LMT How to resurrect it ?

    Hello,
recently I bought by mistake totally dead Garmin 2595.Unit has no show any since of life, but when you connect it to the computer you can hear the sound, when new USB device is connected.
I tried a different screen, battery, cable, charger, but no luck so far.
Is there any way to put this particular unit to preboot mode, unless the standard way touching the corner?
    Thank you

Yeah the Garmin drivers are installed, but unfortunately the navigation is not recognized as usb mass storage.Windows just made a chord sound when the USB device is connected and after a while 30 sec around the same sound when the USB device is disconnected...

Maybe it can be fixed. Made cure firmware as per instructions here: [Only registered and activated users can see links. ].

Open the cure rgn in Updater.exe and select the radio button next to 'USB Device' on the GUI. Hold top LH corner of screen and connect to a REAR USB port of PC while watching the window next to 'USB Device'. If the device details appear in the window immediately press 'OK' or hit enter key on your keyboard and keep holding the screen until Updater reports a successful flash. You should now have Mass Storage Mode, so backup the internal file system and then reformat with RMPrepUSB and load original firmware etc as per the Cure 3 initial post.

If you can't access preboot it's dead. But here's a couple of things to try before you give up and break it down for parts:

Connect it to a 5V power source with a good current, the rear port of your PC should suffice. Hold the power button down for an extended time. Keep it down for many minutes if you can.

If that doesn't wake it up you could open it up and disconnect the battery for about an hour, then reconnect it.

Already tried both options...No luck.I was thinking to try it recover from the SD card and update. ldr.bin options but for some reason did not work either or I didn`t make it right.
So I extracted he bin from the firmware rename it to ldr.bin put it in \Garmin\Updater\1371\ on the SD card on update.txt tried ergn,14 reboot, but did not return any results on the log file....

If it can't power up at all then it can't run SD commands. Sorry, nothing more to suggest.

EDIT: You could try to give it a very brief higher voltage/current jolt via USB, risky stuff but it's probably dead anyway so not much to lose if you fry the board.
