Updater.exe is mandatory with your device, because it looks for firmware signature (GVS). Read with care starting post.
Updater.exe forces firmware flashing. Be sure to flash the right HWID firmware.
You have to rename the rgn too as explained.
All the needed info are in OP.

No you cant, devices in starting post list.txt only can be patched.
Plotters firmwares do not contain MSV and BlueChart maps are not signed.

Thank you, I was skipping the UPDATER.EXE because I couldn't get the GPS into Pre-Boot. I tried many ways until I figured that TURN ON THE GPS, WHEN THE GARMIN SHOWS, PRESS AND HOLD UPPER LEFT until THE WORD system SHOWS THEN CONNECT USB AND PRESS "OK" on UPDATER. IT UPLOADS THE FIRMWARE. MUST DO THIS QUICKLY BECAUSE ONLY FEW SECONDS BEFORE THE PRE-BOOT STOPS AND CONTINUE HOLDING UPPER LEFT CORNER.

Thank you again, now my GPS is unprotected and the maps are working.
