Old gimgunlock-0.03 is quite enough for the nüvi 154 because its firmware does not contain MSV (MSV: ---).

I've moved your post from the NTU EU map thread because your problem is not map related. Your unit has HWID of 1758 or 1947. See here to find it: [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]. It seems some related units are notoriously difficult to flash in preboot, similar problem in this thread: [Only registered and activated users can see links. ].

Standby and i'll make a kit for both HWIDs and attach here in the next few hours.

    Hello,
I'm stuck in Step 5, using "IMG Checks Patcher version 1.10". I can't get the patched firmware with the patcher:

    "
    Processing file C:\GUPDATE.GCD

Firmware version as specified in GCD file: 3.10 for Epix.
Firmware name: Software Version 3.10 for Epix.

    Error: .

    "

    Model: Epix | HWID: 1988 | SWVS: 310 | MAP: Yes | GMA: Yes | MSV: Yes | GVS: --- | File: EpixSystem_WebUpdater__310.gcd

IMHO he cant start Updater.exe in Win 10, if I understood properly, not a flashing or preboot problem.

Ok, thank you. I've found an easy operational bug: first I unzipped the patch on desktop and executed, but then I moved all files to a different location. Now the patch doesn't work, always errors. But if I unzipped again to my 2nd location, replacing all files, the patch works. It seems that you can't move the files to a second location.

The patcher and the firmware must be in the same directory. You can put that directory everywhere you like.

Yes, i think you're right. However Updater.exe works fine for me in Win 10_64. I flashed an RGN to a 2495 only a matter of hours ago. Has that been reported as a common Updater/Win 10 error?
