I observed the same as you : trying to patch 4.2 with universal patcher gave the same result : no patch because there was no match for MSV !

So I upgraded my 64s with original 4.2 firmware (which was previously patched for .jnx files) and result complies with what was shown with universal patcher : GPSMap64s new firmware does not seem to be MSV protected because City Navigator Europe NTU unlocked with original gimgunlock (not with gimgunlockmapsigpatch) is well dispayed !

    Yes, well done !

After a 64s master reset, unlocked maps with classical gimgunlock (Topo France pro v4 and City Navigator Europe NTU) are not displayed anymore.

5.2 is still MSV protected, there must be an issue with universal patcher.

    Here's what I did :

    1- downgraded 64s firmware to 3.9,

2- double-patched original 4.2 firmware : I first applied big-bang firmware patcher, then alex whiter patch for .jnx files.

    3- Insert double-patched 4.2 firmware into 64s, then achieved a master reset.

The result is that Big-Bang patch is effective (unlocked maps with classical gimgunlock and NTU maps are displayed), but my home-made .jnx have disappeared ! It looks as if Alex Whiter patch was ineffective on previously patched .gcd file with Big-Bang patch.

What have I done wrong ? Should it be better to patch first for .jnx files, then for NTU maps ?

Edit 1 : I think downgrade to original firmware 3.9 made disappear .jnx files (25 Go) located on microSD card. I'm copying them again and let you informed as soon as it has finished.

Edit 2 : everything is OK. Double-patch has worked : I can see unlocked and NTU maps and home-made .jnx files. Thank you Big-bang for your patch !
