Can the ROUTES enabled #972 patch be applied to HWID=1193 firmware for a Nuvi 1250 SgMy?

I have a Nuvi 1250 SgMy that uses the HWID=1193 firmware version 2.80. Is there a possibility that I could apply the same 'patch' method you used in #972 to create a #1193 GUPDATE.GCD file ?

    Thanks you.

    Thanks again.

Hello. I have nvi 1300 with HWID B0972 and SoftwareVersion 631 by [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] for lifetime map.
This map is encrypted and coded and without that FW 631 by [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] nuvi does not see the map.

I downgraded the SoftwareVersion from 631 by [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] to original v510, then updated by FW from post#1 (gupdate.gcd) and route feature enabled.
But the map disappered from maplist.
Can you patch the FW 631 by Navlux to enable routes or create separate patch like [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] ?

Here is the file list of MAP folder:

    gmapsupp.unl

I've got the same device 1200 NA with hwid 0971 and I'm sure routes work on it. I'll dig it out to test and report.

Yes for me, routes icon shows in "Where To?" and "Settings" menu and allows a route to be created and saved. It works in simulation at least:

No doubt! You must have 6.31 SW from this thread. You need to install patched SW for a route in another word.
Garmin, how much is 30 pieces of silver for Judas today? Were they worthy for crucifix of GPSPower?

Alright tried it again today and the patch work. Routes icon showed up in the 'Wheres my route'. The patch will not load without deleting first the 'gcupdate' file in the hidden system folder. One step that

You only need to delete an existing GCD from .System if you (i) load by gupdate.gcd in Garmin folder on SD card, or (ii) by RGN via Updater.exe in preboot. If you load either by dragging the GCD onto WebUpdater.exe (or it's desktop icon) or by pasting it as 'gupdate.gcd' directly into .System then the existing gupdate.gcd is overwritten. If you use the other mentioned methods without ensuring removal of it then it'll likely simply flash back to older version which is what's happened for you.
