Default 62ST - Cannot run device

    Hi,

I have uploaded manually new maps to main memory and since I´m not able to run my 62st.

Probably the memory is full or some map is broken, but while device loads maps loading is not completed and Garmin switch off.

Any idea how to get device workable or how to remove maps from ?

    Many thanks in advance .....

Probably the map you uploaded is corrupt and therefore 'Loading Maps' in boot cannot complete. Read these threads: [Only registered and activated users can see links. ], [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] and importantly [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]. Next time you need to use a map of which you're not 100% sure, put it on an sd card rather than the unit. That way if it bricks you can simply remove the card and the boot can complete.

You must enter preboot mode and load kunix's cure, remove maps and reload original firmware. Neil was faster

Thanks, big thanks .... seems to be fine only with preboot mode.
My device is on again, just will remove maps and uplad again.

By the way I´m in Norway now and I was working too fast to upload Garmin Topo Premium before my trek.
Unfortunately I run BaseCamp earlier than the map was uploaded.
This operation probably caused my situation.

    Thank again

As Neil wrote, put maps in sd: safer
