    Default Garmin Nuvi 205 Bricked

I bricked my Garmin Nuvi 205 now it shows only Garmin logo

It can't be turned off ... only with reset button on bottom can be turned off.
I can't get to preboot mode by holding one of ends of screen.
I have used cure3 to make rgn file and update it to device. Then it got stuck.

Before that I updated by webupdater to latest firmware and had problem with no sound (turn by turn)

PC show Garmin disk drive 1 GB empty
Tried to enter preboot mode but no luck. Logo is still on screen.
Before that I used to enter preboot holding screen on battery sign.

I have Garmin USB drivers installed.
    I can't find HWID

No system backup ... only maps

    Please help.

    Regards
    Sinisa

It looks like you can't enter pre-boot mode correctly, and so the firmware patched by GarminCure3 enters the mass storage mode.
You should enter the pre-boot mode and flash the original firmware.
Also GarminCure3 won't help you with sound. Read the GarminCure3 tutorial here.

How to enter the pre-boot mode ?
I tried holding upper and lower corners while starting GPS.
This device is not responding to that.
I entered earlyer by holding finger over battery bars.
    Now I can't go there.

Will try to find old backup files to copy to 1 GB drive.

Try holding the power button/switch for a few seconds when the device is turned off completely and disconnected from the PC. Then connect it to the PC.

    or

    Or:
Load RGN file to updater. exe and have it visible on desktop with radio button selected for 'USB Device'. Start with nuvi fully OFF. Have USB lead plugged into rear port of PC, press and hold upper LH corner of screen then plug usb lead into nuvi to power it. Immediately nuvi details appear in window next to 'USB device' on updater.exe, click OK or just press enter on kb. Hold screen at least until 'Loader' appears on screen, or until entire process ends.

Hold the power switch for a longer time, until it turns off. All nuvis turn off if you hold the power switch for a sufficiently long time.
