The problem of using unauthorised radio frequencies in ANY country is that it's illegal, whether it's a breach of a Criminal Code, or federal or state legislation or whatever. It might only be a misdemeanor not an actual criminal act. My saying 'expect a knock on the door' is more of an analogy than a serious statement, however the fact remains that when you break the law you subject yourself to the remedies of that law e.g. community service, fines, forfeiture of equipment, imprisonment etc blah blah. Perhaps a breach of such a 'minor' law will even be ignored by the authoritities because they have far more serious matters to contend with, or they may just give you a bit of a 'slap on the wrist' i.e. a warning or admonishment or just tell you if you don't stop doing it that they'll tell you again to stop, then again but a bit louder, .
The point is users doing this need to be warned that they are breaking laws in the affected countries and this needs to be said often so that everyone gets the message. So i'm pleased that you've raised this matter again sofronij, it gives me a reason to quote this again:
BTW, i live in Australia [Oz for short] one of the most democratic, freest, open-mined, un-bigoted, embracing and inclusive countries. I can say that quite without bias because i've traveled extensively in the world. Our biggest problem is that everybody and his dog [pun intended] wants to come HERE and some of the ppl that do come not only don't want to accept our ways and laws but want to change our ways to theirs. I honestly doubt where you live is any freer than here but thanks for the invitation which is respectfully declined, other than for a little visit perhaps .
