Default Restoring Zumo 390LM .System folder

    Hi All,

Updating my Zumo 390LM using Express, I got the 'Out of memory' notification. I cleaned out (stupid, I know, no need to comment on that) the .System folder. Using Express it got populated more or less. I have the feeling I am missing some files (luckily found a gmapbmap on the web), i.e. the BTM folder.

Anyone knows where to find a complete images or how to extract, if possible at all, this from the GCD?

    Thanks,

    E-P

ps. Yes, I was brave (=stupid) enough not to make a full backup in advance.

.GCD is the file who updates firmware, it has nothing to do with your missing files and folders.
It should be handy to know what you have got by GE and what is missing, if you know it.
I hope another zumo 390 user might help you

This is the folder tree in my 390. I hope there is a Zumo owner who can confirm it's correct. I think I might be missing the BTM folder files (supposedly wavs to be played on incoming calls).

Have you tried testing an incoming call with the unit on BT? nuvi units equipped with a BT module work without the BTM folder which i think contains custom ring tones only, maybe?

Checked it using my iPhone. It plays the ringtone selected on the phone without issues. So maybe I can do without.

    Thanks for the reply.

Yes i thought it would because not all BT equipped units have the folder BTM. I did a little more digging and the only units i found which have the BTM folder only have a single .wav file in it named 006-D2484-00.wav. It's just a custom long annoying 'BLUURRTT' tone. You're probably better off with the iphone ring tones, but if you want it here it is:

    Spoiler: 006-D2484-00.RAR

To try it, just create a folder name BTM and extract the rar file to it.
