    i hope you clever guys will find a patch when you have time to play with it, until that i think this solution i have now will work good for me, my friend have no dog at the moment, his plan is getting one next year , so until that he is hunting with me

    I think you can use 16 gb sd easily, since the Astro 320 resembles my GPSmap62 that permits the same multiple file naming system in Garmin folder and up even to 32 gb sd. (I have 16 gb sd in 62)

    Perhaps you are referring to the FAT32 files system limit of 4GiB [-1 byte] which limits all files in your unit and/or it's media card to that size. That has nothing to do with Garmin, MS, MI or your Astro. It's imposed by the file system. It's therefore pointless to create an image of 4GiB or larger because it simply won't be recognised anyway.

    ok but can i have more than 1 img file on SD card with diffrent names, and in that case what shold i rename them to, so i can and turn of the one i dont use

    Anyname.img, read post n23, but respect tiles limit: 62s can handle a mapsets sum with at least 4000map segments, probably ASTRO 320 has the same limit. [(Basemap+preloaded map+user added map=max 4XXX(4096? 4k?))]
    To check it you can use Javawa Tools.

    sorry I only saw this tread first. I have a 320 US that I need to use in norway, but I do not have it here yet, Just trying to understand it until I get home. How do I download the software from the device? do i located it mostly on the SD card? Or cabel to device? sorry for the stupid questions.
