Hi I have a 1450 LMT, I found it no longer shows FM traffic so I want to reinstall everything, but so far I have tried actions below, but it still cant connect to PC

    install communicator plugin
    install GPS USB driver
connect to PC during preboot mode
see nothing in my computer's device manager/disk management

PS: I've tried above methods in win7 64 and win XP

So now I really dont know what I can do...

Are you trying to access the internal flash drive of your nuvi?
What does your nuvi display when you try to do it?

This looks like a hardware problem. In particular, your USB cable is detected as a charger. This detect is performed by measuring the resistance between pins 4 and 5 of the mini-USB connector.
Maybe there is a parasite resistance in the mini-USB hub, so try cleaning it.
Maybe your USB cable is bad.
