Look in garmin folder if you have inside garmindevice.xml or maybe garmindevice.tmp if you have tmp just rename to .xml and webupdater will see device.
If this don't work then try this:

Flash in pre boot again with folder original and then use prepusb and set it like on picture and format
Then create empty folder Garmin and turn off/on device and you will hawe garmindevice.xml inside folder garmin and webupdater will see device.
If you wish, you can [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]

    This is the problem !
When you connect to Applications Webupdater, Garmin Express, Mapsource, Mapinstall,GarminMapudater and other Garmin and ThirdParty Applications
The Application reads Garmindevice.xml to see the model of your Nuvi, Firmware Revision, Unit Id and what files your Nuvi Needs.
This File is re-created on every Full Boot, if you have added a Voice it will be reflected in this file as Installed with Revision Number and Part Number.
You could call this file "The Nuvi Registry" and it is externally accessible via USB Mode.
To cut a long story short. Your Nuvi needs this file to be working properly so that you can connect to garmin APPS.

Does your Nuvi boot Properly to the Where to Screen ?
Can you use this Nuvi for Navigation ?
What was done to this Nuvi before it Bricked ?

Nuvy had worked properly for 2 years (before the problem I've mentioned). The problem started when I killed the car's engine (it didn't shut down automatically), so I did the forced shutdown.
The last attempt I've achived was formatted Nuvi by RMPrepUSB and made Garmin new folder in directory G. I've kept my old GarminDevice.xml in my PC.

Have you flashed in Original Mode using Garmincure 3 ?

The Nuvi could still be running with the Cure Firmware which is not bootable.

I can't flash in Original Mode using GarminCure3 because Nuvi cannot be detected in updater.exe. When Nuvi connected to PC, Windows always shows directory of Garmin, which is empty.

When I did number 5, my nuvi model cannot be seen in updater.exe at usb device. Windows showed directory of Garmin instead.
