Garmin DriveAssist 50LM preboots, with the touch area over the G in Garmin
Spoiler: small pic
Everything is like you have explain and I'm doing but want to go in preboot mode.
Funny thing is that I'm not doing this for the first time.
Finally firmware loaded...

Have not seen how to go into pre-boot on DriveLuxe 50. Holding top left corner of screen while inserting USB connector just goes into USB mode.
Thank you.

Does this pre-boot for Zumo 660 also apply to the zumo 665?
And
Does it need to be plugged into my pc to actually access Pre-Boot?

@flopsdlm
Probably. Just try.
Replying to your edit also: Many devices can assume a type of preboot by holding the battery symbol in the top RH corner of the main screen ("Where To?/View Map") for about 6 secs until a hidden inventory shows, then connecting to PC. Doesn't work with many newer devices however.
Hi Guys,
I couldn't find BMW NAV VI. Is it the same as Zumo 660?
Thanks
Physically the Nav IV is the same as zumo 660. I think Nav VI is closer to zumo 59x. I do think that both those zumo series enter preboot by holding the LOWER left corner of the screen. If that doesn't work for your Nav VI then try TOP LH corner.
Hi,
I gotta flash quickCure by pressing top left corner at NAV V and VI.
It is the same place where we do display calibration.
how to proceed with an Oregon 700
- Connect the Oregon to your computer with a USB cable
- s the Oregon powers up and begins the boot process, immediately press and hold the power button without disconnecting the USB cable
didnt work
the finger in the upper left corner of the display didn't work either
a hint is appreciated
many thanks
