    thumbup My garmin nuvi 880 is dead. Help!

    My garmin nuvi 880 is dead, It just turn on only plug into my computer but it displays the slash screen only and stay there forever. My computer is window 7 is not able to see it at all even though I install USBDrivers_231. The updater.exe can see it as usb device in Pre-Boot Mode only. WebUpdater_WindowsXPSP3andnewer__256, my Dashboard.garmin don't see it at all. Don't know what to do. Please help anybody.

    You need to create cure FW with tool from this thread: [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]

    Upsss, cure tool won't work, only Alexander2010 can help you with linux based nuvi.

    Thank you lolypop000 but who is Alexander2010? and how can I contact him? I am so desperate to have it fix. It was a very expensive one.

    It is back to life from Alexander2010's cure firmware, Thank you very much Alexander2010 you are great.
