    I tried to update the device by means of webupdater with your firmware.
    It doesn't accept the gupdate.gcd file. The device is updated only manually with converted to .rgn file.

    You are very brave man to dismantle new nuvi and post pictures like this.

    @Captain. snail, tks a lot!
    From the observation of the screen fo FM Traffic Status, one can see that the boot record the traffic receiver of 140T is quite different of the GTM 25, 26, 35, 36 and 60, and seems to me to be a big challenge to make this system functional with the firmware that uses traffic with external cables.You was also very skillfil in remove the metal cover and expose the processor. The processor is a ARM STA2064N2 of 533 mhz and that supports the Galileo satellite network, which may explain the reason of this model have been released first in Europe. Anyone who wants information on this processor check it out at [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]

    Maybe Traffic data comes from satellites or from another source ?
    Can these nuvi receive traffic on battery power ?
    Any ideas.

    In this FW for 150 is writen GTM25 so i think that GTM25 must work on this nuvi.
    Look at picture on previous page in my post.

    We must whait for @Neil to try flash this FW on nuvi 50 and report if TMC work.
