    @captain.snail; @kunix
    Yes I too thought that's the problem, different hardware versions and maybe differing address loadings. However, before i saw the further posts i noticed that c.s had uploaded v7.27 gupdate.gcd in a previous post so i tried that:

    Yippee! Lookin' good, baby!!:

    updatersuccessful

    but then... bummer!!:

    systemsoftwaremissing

    Here's the .rgn if anyone's interested: [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]

    Being a wimp, i kept it connected and flashed back to 40 v2.70 fw. Any expert opinion on the risk of turning it off and on to see if maybe, just maybe, it boots as 140T after getting 'System Software Missing'? Or do you think it will brick for sure, kunix?

    If you want to play with 2455 i have one, and also a 2350 but i suspect that there are big differences there. Maybe 40 is more like 2350 (just putting it out there, i wouldn't know) and 140 is more like 2455 (it seems the latter two have the same ARM processor maybe differently clocked)?

    My 2455:

    I hope that earlier screenshot of yours is an old one, Капитан, or you best update it..lol.

    You won't brick anything unless you've flashed a wrong boot.bin. Also you see "system software missing" because of the different loading addresses, and it will never boot for the same reason. If you really want to boot it, you need to wrap fw_all.bin with a special loader which will move it to the right loading address and execute. But there are not such loader, I haven't written it yet.

    Sorry, i should stop using the 'brick' word loosely. I always use original boot.bin for that reason, and then i know i can always get it back. I just didn't want to have to go to the trouble of doing that so flashed it back while still connected. I meant 'brick' as in 'won't boot' or 'partly bricked' but you might say 'you can't be partly pregnant either' therefore it's either bricked or it's not.

    Umm, you haven't written it YET?? So you can write it. Now would be nice, but ... i suppose you have other more pressing things to do. We can wait, i guess ....
    PS: Have you done it yet??

    Thanks for the PICS of 3490, Much appreciated.
    I've been looking for the schematic, and/OR PINOUT for the 3490 Powered Mount for a while Now. Pictures would also be good.

    What's the difference between "written it" and "done it"?
    I was going to create such relocating loader, but then I was stuck with the case when the old firmware location and the new firmware location overlap and with minimizing memory usage, and with the need of compressing the firmware (to allow executing fw_all.bin through copying it to RAM directly by flashing it with RGN instead of boot.bin).
    Then I've got a headache, and stopped thinking about this loader.
