Test with the total cancellation of custom POIs or Cyclops...if you use them, of course

Another question. Do you have the basemap in your unit? Lack of basemap can be the cause of reboots.
Wait for kunix and Lolypop for this unit formatting and restoring instructions, but be sure you know how to put your unit in preboot mode and flash it then with Updater.exe.

I delete one by one the next files and test it after deletion with no positive results.
    1. custom POI
    2. 3d buildings
    3. junction view.

I have the original basemap in the device. I really cannot find any kind of instruction about how to put the device in preboot mode. Thanks a lot for all the suggestions.

I remember that at my old Nuvi760, after a firmware update, stopped to recognize 24bit bmp's of custom pois... When I used that bmp's to make pois with poiloader, my Nuvi760 reset EVERY time one poi shows at screen.... When I used pois without icon (only with default dots) Nuvi was not reset....
The solution was to edit first bmp's from 24bit to 8bit/256color bitmap (and size <2kb) and then make pois with Poiloader.... after that, no problem with my Nuvi...

Think about it.... maybe is same problem for you....

Well, i checked this out. I do not have any custom POI's on my device. Only 2-3 POI's made during trips, and i delete those anyway

Seems like i fixed the problem. Last step it was creating a custom map with a smaller size. I did not experience resets from than. I will keep you posted if any news !
Thanks a lot to all of you who have tried to help me. You have all a great forum here.
