Default 3790 select a locale with no usb connection [solved]

    Dear Friends,
I installed a corrupted map on 3790 and the device hanged on loading maps with no usp connection.
then I flashed cure firmware and deleted the map,but the device hanged on GIR version mismatch..
I then Formatted the device and it turned on till select a locale screen with no any selections to chose from!!
Now it hangs on this screen with no usb connection??
is there any software to flash through the updater..?
    Thanks for consideration..hany

GIR version mismatch mean you used a wrong resources.bin
If you can get preboot mode then try to flash with your original 3790 firmware.

    Dear Catymag,
    Thanks for consideration..
Now Im using the updater.exe 2.8.0.0
and I flashed the cure firmware 2.50[Only registered and activated users can see links. ]
it came with cure.rgn and other 250.rgn in the same zip file.
I unzipped them then flashed cure firmware then deleted the corrupted map, then flashed normal 250.rgn but it hanged at GIR mismatch.
Then I formatted the device and now it hangs at select a locale
So I wonder what to do Boss..
    Thanks AGAIN,,
    Hany.

    Dear CatyMag,,
Ive made a cure firmware through Garmin Cure3 using my Gupdate 4.90
then it acted as mass storage device. the garmin driver is free as it was formated before.
then I flashed the normal rgn file made by Garmin Cure 3 too but I marked (original).
It again hangs at select locale screen.
are there files or folders i should copy to garmmin driver using the cure fw.???
and where shall i get them bro..?

    Appreciate your efforts.

Have you tried Webupdater. ? or My Dashboard ?
It sounds like you have USB working fine now.

    Thanks for clarification Dasilvarsa,
I was in Johanesburg last october by the way..great country..
I think am almost solved the problem..but wait for confirmation..
your suggestion doesnot work as The laptop and garmin programs recognize the device as mass storage device and not as a garmin gps device.
so, does not make sense to use mapupdater or webupdater..
I figured out other solution inspired from Caty..
    So thank Bro,
    Caty: Thanks SIS..
    hahahaha

I dont understand clearly what have you done after loading Kunix' cure, but I hope you followed with care this

    and this
[Only registered and activated users can see links. ]
and at the end you loaded the original 3790 firmware as written by my friend Aekhong above.
If not ,try again using the proper method
