    @angelozip

    Can you please provide picture of GTM Info and FM Traffic status from nuvi 3490 where GTM36 work?
    Then we can compare if is on working antena also write 4G/HD (this kanoups discover from picture).
    Something is wrong but we dont know what becouse i found on net that on some nuvi 34xx FW 7.10 work GTM36.
    Why Garmin add this GTM to LMT package if dont work and why take so long for Garmin tu create fix.
    GTM25/35 use FW 300/320 but GTM26/36 use ver 2.10 i think that this is problem,becouse FW is to old and cant detect new GTM

    Loly, the first provides are you test the GTM36 in nuvi 13xx 14xx series and see if it works, because I know you are compatible. If yes, here we fall in problematic of the post 31. If not, it may be a problem with the firmware it or even hardware defect, discarding external problems (radios) because gtm25 works.
    If you installed the signature of JetMouse with 18689,33,33,1 parameters should be appearing in the "GTM INFO" of the GTM36 the signature RadioSI/TrafficNav 9/00/1/33 (see figure) in place of the original signature 9/e4/1/33, ie, or you installed with parameters different from those mentioned or signature was not installed. Anyway, DO NOT INSTALL signature with the parameters mentioned, because you will erase the original signature, ok? (See post 41). Please scroll down and post the rest of the screen "GTM Info" from the 3490 GTM36 for better evaluation.
    Some abnormalities are shown in "GTM Info" tables of GTM36: the parameters of radio 9/e4/0/21hex (9/e4/0/33) and the original signature that appears on the screen GTM36 (9/e4/1/33 )
    are different, and therefore there is no tunning. Or is defective receptor or signature with some strange parameters that inducing a wrong tunning. Another concern is the warning given
    "Invalid connect time" in "FM Traffic Status" of GTM36. If this is the cause you can try reinstalling the firmware of the GTM36.
    Attached is a picture showing how JetMouse signature looks (ever ecc=00) for every country, in gps with new operacional system and GTMs, and another image showing the 3490 tuned properly.
    As I said in post 41, the only situation in which I can tunning with Jetmouse signature in new OS and new GTMs, is when I insert another, or of my country or of another, something I discovered now..

    Loly, if you say you fixed the "Invalid connect time" changing the date of 2020 to 2011 in GTMdata.xml, although we are in 2012, and the warning still appears in the screenshot that you posted, I can only conclude that you sent the wrong screenshot by mistake, and that changes everything. Now I say for sure that it is highly likely that you've overwritten the original signature (erased) with of Jetmouse and from there can no longer tune, the same problem described in post 41, which seems to be universal. So, do not worry about reinstalling firmware, is not around. Post again the screenshots of the GTM36 nuvi3490 update, to confirm the problem. If you really deleted the original signature, the traffic will not work.
    As I said, we'll have a good work ahead to try to resolve this issue ..

    First i add screen shot then when i look in picture i found error Invalid connect time and i reasearch and found this in my GTMdata.xml:

    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8" ?>
    - <gtmData xmlns="http://www.garmin.com/xmlschemas/GtmData/v1" xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance" xsi:schemaLocation="http://www.garmin.com/xmlschemas/GtmData/v1 http://www.garmin.com/xmlschemas/GtmDatav1.xsd">
    - <unit>
    <unitId>3758365022</unitId>
    <lastConnected>2020-01-01T00:00:10Z</lastConnected>
    </unit>

    Then i change 2020-01-01T00:00:10Z to 2011-01-01T00:00:10Z and Invalid connect time desapire

    I replace today my old GTM36 for new GTM36 in store but again also new GTM wont work.On this GTM36 is original subscription but i stil have SYS 2.10 and BB 2.10 but you have SYS 2.20 and BB 2.10
    So if you tell me how can i upgrade GTM FW i will try.

    @Loly, the firmware, or part of them (upgrade), are in the RemoteSW folder in ".System". The format is .gcd or .bin. I do not know where you can find fw gtm36, but you can try to install that I have in my RemoteSW folder. Among them should be the fws, or updates, of the GTM I've ever used: GTM 25, 26, 36. I do not know which one is the 36, is at your own risk. I suggest first put these files in RemoteSW folder and connect GTM36 energized (before, remove your files from this folder). Normally the upgrade is done automatically. For manual installation uses the webupdater ..
    Download in [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]

    The GtmData.xml is a registry, with ID, of the last GTM cable connection. By logical inconsistency accused error, by being impossible have plugged the cable in 2020. When you changed to a past date, the system accepted for being logical. Note if the date is correct on your gps. Reconnect the cable energized and then check the date that appears in the first line of gtmdata.xml: must state the time of connection. If keep showing wrong date, the problem is in gps firmware. It's worth reinstalling the gps firwmare..

    From what I understood, then the screen that you sent is of the new GTM36, correct? This explains the original signature. In its place I erase all the signatures of the other countries, because some of them might be generating conflicting parameters, this can be a good way forward. Finally, do not forget to test this GTM 36, with original signature, with a Nuvi 13 or 14xx Series.

    After modding with the 140.bin and I press the traffic button I will get "cable is not connected" and there is nothing in the 2 GMT pages. that same cable I attached to a un-modded 2555 and I have attached the screens for you.
