? nuvi 1340 freezing on multi POI warning

I have a nuvi 1340 updated to 6.10 firmware. I am still getting the unit freezing up when I have a number of POI warnings in close succession, e.g. average speed camers. I recall a firmware fix for other models in the past, does anyone know of a fix on the 1340 please.

I too have a 1340, and I do not ever what, even at intersections with 3 alarms / POI + Cyclops + SCDB
    1) you are all alarmed or even simple WayPoint?
    2) how many POI you have in total on the nav? Perhaps too many?
    3) if it was in Italy, set the coordinates of the place that you control
    4) are alarmed with your own sounds or default?

Thank you for your quick replies, sorry I posted in wrong forum. I have done a full reset after previous firmware update, but not this one. I will try. I have checked and maybe i have many POI's on device. I will delete some and try it again.

    Garmin support faq in website
Question: How many POIs can I fit into my GPS device?

    Answer:
There is no set limit on how many POIs can be loaded into the Garmin device. This depends on the size of the POI files and the space available for POIs. The size of the loaded POIs will depend on the amount of text included with each POI and the size of any included bitmaps. Since POIs can be loaded into internal memory or onto SD cards, the space available will vary widely. Typically, the user should be able to fit more than 3000 POIs onto a unit. If the available space is exceeded, POI Loader will tell the user how much space is available in the device and how much space would be required to fit all the POIs that were chosen.

It does depend on the amount of text, but as a test I loaded a complete (at the time) list of Canadian zip codes onto my 200W as a POI and it worked without a problem. That list? 57MB in size and almost 900,000 entries.

One thing for sure, unless your poi data is corrupted in some way (unlikely), within reason the amount of pois and even multiple duplications of individual pois should not cause the slightest problem. Back up before you hard reset and also try clearing NV if a hard rest doen't clear the freezing problem. I'd be looking elsewhere, unless as i said you have some corrupted data in your pois.
